How to Knit Wide M1R and M1L Raglan Increases

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to work Wide Make One Right (M1R) and Make One Left (M1L) increases on the knit side.

Rather than placing the increases directly beside the raglan marker, this method leaves a stitch on either side of the marker, creating a wider raglan line between your increases. It’s a simple way to add a little more definition and structure to raglan shaping while still using the familiar M1R and M1L techniques.
